	Quickly becoming a Central Coast landmark, OstrichLand USA in Buellton is a popular destination and a great first stop when you’re headed to the quaint Dutch themed town of Solvang, the Chumash Casino, or Santa Ynez Valley wineries. Our 50 amazing ostriches and emus are adored by people of all ages. Locals often bring guests to see “Buellton’s favorite pets.” You can think of OstrichLand like a zoo. Our Ostriches and Emus are here for your enjoyment. Visitors are invited to feed the animals, or just stand back and enjoy the interactions and antics of these unbelievably large birds. Though we carry and sell Ostrich meat, our birds are not raised for meat. We bring the meat in from businesses who raise Ostrich exclusively for meat. You'll find our Ostriches and Emus have been raised to be fed by the visitors and are trained to eat out of a bowl. We even have two female Ostriches who were hand-raised in the store (until they grew too big, of course!) 	People always ask if we have babies and when do we have babies. The answer has "good" news and "bad" news. First the good news. Because we do not need "replacements" since our birds are not for meat, we do not hatch babies. That's good news for the Ostriches. The bad news is that you won't see babies at OstrichLand. If we do one day hatch chicks, we'll definitely post the "arrival" news on our website. Next time you’re traveling through California, be sure to allow time for a stop at OstrichLand USA.
